5aus dem Demos Phaleron und seine Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluss von Rat und Volk; - - -
6S.d. Menekles aus dem Demos Aphidna stellte den Antrag: Worüber Bericht erstatten die Prytanen
7der Aiantis, nämlich über die Opfer, die sie opferten vor den Volksversammlungen dem
8Apollon Prostaterios und der Artemis Boulaia und den
9anderen Göttern, denen es traditionell Brauch war; sie auch Sorge getragen haben für das
10Zusammentreten des Rates und der Volksversammlung und für alles andere, was ihnen die
11Gesetze vorschrieben und die Beschlüsse des Volkes: dass man belobige die Prytanen
12der Aiantis und bekränze mit goldenem Kranz gemäß dem Gesetz wegen ihrer
13Frömmigkeit gegenüber den Göttern und ihres Ehrgeizes für den Rat und
14das Volk der Athener; dass diesen Beschluss der Sekretär, der während der
15Prytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele und aufstelle in dem Prytani-
16kon; dass für die Aufzeichnung auf die Stele der Finanzverwalter
17die entstandenen Kosten begleiche.

4in the theatre. Of the presiding committee – son of –
5of Phaleron was putting to the vote, and his fellow presiding committee members. The People decided. –
6son of Menekles of Aphidna proposed: about what the prytany of Aiantis
7report concerning the sacrifices which they made before the Assemblies to
8Apollo Prostaterios and Artemis Boulaia and the
9other gods to whom it is traditional, and managed the convening of the
10Council and the People and everything else which the laws
11and decrees of the People require of them; to praise the prytany
12of Aiantis and to crown it with a gold crown according to the law for its
13piety towards the gods and love of honour towards the Athenian Council and
14People; and the prytany secretary shall inscribe this
15decree on a stone stele and stand it in the prytanikon;
16and the administrator shall allocate for [inscribing?] the stele
17the expenditure accrued.
